The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences have had many developments to continuously improve their facilities and ensure they are the best they can offer.
The first stage of the works for EAS was the completion of a new EAS School Centre on the first floor of the Main Building. This new layout brought together the separate administrative functions of the school into one area, including Admissions and Placements office and Coursework Submissions and also houses HR/Finance for EAS and the Associate Deans and Executive Dean.
Phase 2 included moving the Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry Department from the CEAC Building and incorporating these activities into the Main Building.
The lower ground space between C and D stairs was remodelled to create Research Laboratories, Undergraduate Teaching Laboratory and MSc. Work space relocating from the CEAC Building.
The first floor of the Main Building from B to D stairs had spaces remodelled to create CEAC Research Laboratories and Academic Offices.
