The Projects team is responsible for all the physical and financial elements of campus development and refurbishment. The aim of the team is to deliver high quality, value for money solutions.
Using its wide experience and knowledge base drawn from architectural, project and estates management, the team is committed to developing sustainable, affordable and innovative solutions for campus developments.
Working closely with clients, the team looks for the best ways to balance the often conflicting priorities of budget, timescale and building requirements. Its work enhances the University environment and its portfolio of property across the campus.

Christopher joined the Estates & Capital Development team in November 2016. Before joining Aston University, Christopher worked for Anglia Ruskin University over a 16 year period. After gaining a Graduate Diploma in Building Surveying, he worked within their Projects team for nearly four years as an Assistant Building Officer. Christopher’s role with the ECD team is to support Peter in the delivery of all projects from meeting with the client, through to design, procurement, day-to-day management of the construction and handover back to the client.

David joined the Estates & Capital Development Team in November 2008. After graduating in Construction Management (2:1) in 2000 at Wolverhampton University, David worked as Site/Project Manager for various medium to large construction companies including John Mowlem Plc (now Carillion). David’s role within the ECD Team is being responsible for the efficient and cost effective day-to-day operation and maintenance of all building works for the Maintenance Team of Aston University.
