Regulations are formal rules governing the operation of the University.

The Learning and Teaching Committee and the Regulation Sub-Committee, review the academic regulations annually and may approve up-dates for the following academic year. Recent changes are summarised in what's new bulletins.

Assessment Regulations govern the conduct of examinations and assessment.

General Regulations for Programmes apply to all Aston students in all years of their programme.

Financial Regulations and Governance provide a practical source of guidance on financial matters to members of staff. They are reviewed annually and approved by by the University's Finance and Infrastructure, their effectiveness is reviewed by the Audit Committee

Library Regulations set out the conditions of use of the Library and its services, and are overseen and approved by the Senate.

IT Regulations set out the conditions of use of IT facilities and services, and are overseen and approved by the Senate.

The Regulations on Student Discipline are intended to set and maintain acceptable standards of behaviour within the University community, to encourage individuals to accept their obligations to the community, to protect the rights of members of that community to participate freely in the educational purposes of the University and to help maintain the University’s good name and standing.The Learning and Teaching Committee and the Regulation Sub-Committee review and approve these regulations.
