The International Strategy Committee develops, enables and evaluates the implementation of the University’s international strategy.
International Strategy Committee Terms of Reference
The University’s International Strategy Committee reports to the Senate.
Purpose: To develop, enable and evaluate the implementation of the University International Strategy in line with Aston 2020, ensuring that it is consistent with the Schools’ aspirations.
Responsible for:
1. Developing, enabling, and evaluating the implementation of the University’s international strategy.
2. Agreeing international KPIs and monitoring progress against the strategy.
3. Receiving and agreeing plans, then monitoring progress against School international strategies and action plans.
4. Receiving and agreeing International office plans, then monitoring progress.
5. Overseeing and agreeing the international marketing and communications strategies.
6. Identifying, sharing and promoting best practice and the resources required to achieve strategic goals.
7. Seeking Senate’s approval on major decisions concerning international activities.
