University Executive

The Vice-Chancellor chairs the University Executive which manages the University Strategy and oversees its business; monitors the achievement of the University's objectives; considers and makes recommendations to Senate and Council on policy initiatives; and takes ownership and management responsibility for key risks. The Executive meets on a fortnightly basis and key decisions are reported in the Executive News.

Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Engagement)

The Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor assists the Vice-Chancellor in the management of the University and acts as his deputy.


The Pro-Vice-Chancellors (PVC) are senior appointees who assist the Vice-Chancellor in specific areas of academic development including the delivery of the institutional strategic objectives.
