The quality of learning and teaching at the University is overseen by the Learning & Teaching Enhancement Office. The University's Quality and Standards Framework describes the internal processes and procedures for assuring the quality and standard of its academic provision, and includes code of practice statements covering, for example, external examining, degree programme reviews, collaborative provision and annual review and monitoring modules and programmes.
The University is subject to periodic audits by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and the latest QAA Audit report can be accessed here.
The University maintains a register of Collaborative Provision for Foundation Degrees/Other Programmes and a register of Current International Partnership Agreements.

The Research and Enterprise Office provides a link between companies and Aston's academic expertise in areas including Business and Management, Engineering and Applied Science, Languages and Social Sciences, Life and Health Sciences, and Medical Science. It assists companies in attracting industrial and commercial research funding and in managing projects to help develop their business.
