“I'd like to become a business owner myself and work within the industry of my passion which is music and entertainment.”

Why did you choose Aston University? There are many reasons as to why I chose Aston. Firstly, Aston offers a wide range of programmes to choose from and a creative selection of joint honours which is what initially made me apply. Secondly, I was also impressed with the business school which is regarded as one of the best in the country. Thirdly, Aston's emphasis on undertaking an industrial placement as part of my programme turned out to be one of the most pivotal moments in my life and the support I received building up to finding a placement was excellent.

What did you enjoy about your course? I found my modules throughout my degree to be progressively challenging but also interlinked which meant that each module compliment another.  I most particularly enjoyed the freedom to choose the direction of my education throughout my final year in particular.

What advice would you give to current Aston students? Make the most of what Aston has to offer in terms of location, campus life, social events and also its societies.

How would you sum up your time at Aston in one word? Dope-ness

What do you enjoy about your current role? I travel for work throughout the year on different projects which allows me to see different parts of the UK (and sometimes the wider world)! I also have the freedom and control to hone my skills in the direction I want to due to my grad scheme that I was able to secure from my placement year.

What are your career ambitions for the future? I'd like to become a business owner myself and work within the industry of my passion which is music and entertainment.
