Why I wanted to be a Global Alumni Ambassador
I would like to be a Global Alumni Ambassador, firstly to be able to give back to the university after studying there for 4 years. Secondly, because I believe that the insight of past students can be very helpful when applying and I was not lucky enough to hear about this when I was a prospective student. Furthermore, my current position involves travelling all over Europe and spending lots of nights away from home with time to give back.
My best memory of Aston
Many memories come to mind, such as all the blurry first year of university and freedom. Nevertheless, if I had to pick one, I would have to pick graduation. The ceremony was everything and more than I expected from a typical British university graduation and meant a lot to me! The robes, the diploma, the friends and family, all the pictures I have instantly put a smile on my face! It was the perfect sealing of 4 great years of being a student and a perfect goodbye!
