Each year Aston Law School hosts a range of events designed to enhance the experience of our students outside of the lecture theatre. These include networking events with a range of law firms, educational providers and businesses, as well as internal events such as mooting and negotiation competitions and influential guest speakers.
Steve Allen Appointment
Aston Law School is delighted to confirm the appointment of Steve Allen as Visiting Professional Fellow. Steve is a partner and Head of Office for Birmingham at the law firm Mills & Reeve. In December 2019, he was appointed as president of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce. Steve will support Aston Law School’s International Commercial Law and Practice module.Read more
Lord Lloyd-Jones Honorary President’s Lecture
Lord Lloyd-Jones has been appointed the first Honorary President of Aston Student Law Society. Lord Lloyd-Jones will visited Aston Law School on 31 January 2020 to deliver the Honorary President’s Lecture – a talk which will enable students to learn more about Lord Lloyd-Jones’ career and his experiences as a Supreme Court Justice.
