We invite any student with a business idea to enter the competition, which is sponsored by Santander Universities, to be in with a chance of being crowned the winner (which comes with a £1000 prize fund and a fast tracked place onto our BSEEN start-up programme).

At our Finale event, the 5 student teams pitched their idea to a lecture room full of fellow students and supporters, and most importantly to our expert judges, who quizzed them a bit harder on their ideas: Paula Whitehouse(Director, Aston Centre for Growth), Connor Watt (Co-founder – Narce Media, and 2018’s runner up!) and Daniel Evans (Aston graduate and Co-founder of the Birmingham Enterprise Community).

Following a lot of deliberation, the judges awarded Joseph Poxon the top prize, for the remarkable progress he’s already made with his business and ambitious plans to scale in the future.

Congratulations to all of the fantastic finalists! You can watch all of the pitches from our finalists on our Youtube Channel.
