The evaluation of modules and taught programmes is a key part of the University's quality assurance processes, and part of a cycle of continuous improvement by the staff and students of a programme.
The formal Annual Review Reports are submitted for peer scrutiny at a fixed point in each academic year, and draw on a range of internal and external data. It is through the formal Annual Review Reports that the University assures itself, and other stakeholders, that the quality and standards are being managed, that issues are being resolved and that good practice is being shared.

Data To Support Evaluation And Review
Student Module Feedback
The process for providing module leaders with Student Module Feedback is managed by the Market Research Office.

As part of the Business Information Project, the programme-level data for review is being migrated to Tableau dashboards. The data for student progression is now available on Tableau, with admission, award and employment data to follow. Please click here to access the data. Please note, you will need to download the file in order to view it. Please ignore the error message, which is due to a compatibility issue with Box.
Programme Directors, Associate Deans, Quality Officers and other staff involved in review at the programme level, will therefore need to arrange to install Tableau Reader using these instructions.
A Dashboard User Guide is also avalaible.
Data from the Planning and Student Management Information Team
The Planning and Student Management Information Team are, for this year, also presenting the data in the more familiar spreadsheets so that programme teams still have access to data that is not yet available via Tableau. The undergraduate data is now ready to be viewed via this route, and the postgraduate data will be ready week commencing 5 November 2018.

Destination of Leavers Reports
The Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey is an annual study which all UK Higher Education Institutions are required to take part in. Universities are required to achieve a minimum response rate of 80% of eligible graduates.
The purpose of the survey is to capture a snapshot of employment of recent graduates from each institution.
The DLHE year runs from April to March and two surveys are conducted during this year. Each survey is designed to take place 6 months after graduation with the first survey taking place in April for graduates from the previous September (mainly postgraduates) and the second survey taking place the following January for graduates from the previous summer (mainly undergraduates).
The most recent reports for 2016/17 have been circulated to School Associate Deans. Please contact the Deans or Phil Burke in Marketing for access to the reports.

Annual Placement Reports
The Annual Placement Reports are created each year by the Careers and Placements Team. They capture placement performance data for each School and as well as an overall performance report. The reports include specific data on:
- Year-on-year placement uptake
- Degree subject placement uptake
- Student engagement levels for UK and overseas placement
- Employer engagement levels for UK and overseas placement uptake
- Student and employer survey summaries
- New initiatives and recommendations

Employer Data and Feedback
The Employer Data and Feedback reports are based on the Annual Placement Survey and regular employer feedback. They capture data related to:
