Nourish at Aston University is a fresh take on campus catering. Here at Nourish, we hand-pick the freshest ingredients to give students, staff and visitors wholesome food that tastes good and does you good. Whether you’re relaxing with a freshly-ground coffee or picking up a sandwich on the go, we’ve got whatever you need, exactly when you need it.

Food delivery

We're delighted to be able to offer our food delivery service to all Aston Student Village buildings on campus including UNITE and The Old Fire Station. We can also deliver to your office within the Aston University campus.

Where to eat on campus

Café Libro | 8:30am – 8:00pm
As you enter the stunning glass entrance of Aston University Library, Café Libro sits on the right-hand side of the main entrance offering the perfect escape during those long hours of study and a selection of Costa coffees, cold drinks, sandwiches, paninis, wraps and cakes.

Eros Café | 8:30am – 4pm
Located in the corridor of the Aston University Main Building. It's a dedicated outlet for our Vegetarian and Vegan friends. 

MBA Snack Bar | 12pm – 2pm
Located on the ground floor of the Aston Business School building, you'll find a great choice of grab and go sandwiches, salads, paninis, jacket potatoes and homemade soup.

Tierra Food Court | 8am – 4pm (Costa closes at 6pm)
You'll find the contemporary food court in the Aston University Main Building, offering a wide selection of food choices including: Traditional Foods with home cooked favourites; a World Food bar with Indian, Chinese and Mexican dishes, as well as Chicken Joes - great selection of Halal available; healthy Deli Bar with handmade baguettes, salads, jacket potatoes, wraps and soups; Grab 'n' Go sandwiches and snacks and a Coffee Bar serving the incredibly popular Costa Coffee, sandwiches, paninis and tasty treats such as caramel shortbreads!

The Aston Meal Plan

The Aston Meal Plan allows students living on campus to eat at Cafe Libro, Eros Cafe and Tierra Food Court including Costa Coffee, without the need for cash.

  • On a weekly basis £43.85 is automatically credited to your student ID card (for non-Aston students a meal plan card will be set up), which you can use as your payment card in all our outlets.
  • You can use this money at any time Monday to Friday between 8am-8pm.
  • Our vast array of dishes and grab and go offers will provide you with plenty of choice to select from.
  • For every £1 spent, you'll earn 10 loyalty points, which is effectively a 10% discount! These points can be used in any of Nourish's outlets for the purchase of food & drink.

Term 1

Monday 28th September 2020 - Friday 18th December 2020
12 weeks = £526.20

Term 2

Monday 11th January 2021 - Friday 2nd April 2021
12 weeks = £526.20

At a total cost of £1052.40 per annum, this is great value and will help our new students in particular settle into University life quickly, without the stress of having to shop and cook food for themselves on a daily basis.

Please note that the Christmas out of term weeks are excluded in the meal plan.

Earn points when you spend

  • The new loyalty scheme is now available via your ID card.
  • You do not need to register, this will automatically be available on your current ID card.
  • You can collect points from Nourish outlets Café Libro, Eros Café and Tierra Food Court
  • Present your card at the till, before you pay and your points will be added.
  • You can collect points on any food or drink purchased in these items.
  • For each full £1 you spend, 10 points will be added to your account.
  • Each point is worth one penny
  • Points can be redeemed in any of the Nourish outlets. 
  • Collect points by tapping your card on the reader at the till. It will also show your points total.

Meet the team

The catering team have been working together for a number of years now, we are proud of what we do, we all work on our strengths and support each other to deliver a great service to our customers.

Kate Glynn – Head of Catering Services: Kate is responsible for overall operations including development and execution, for all student and staff feeding, hospitality and vending services across campus. Kate’s biggest job is making sure her team make her look good!

Richard Thurman – Operations Support Manager: Richard is responsible for the smooth running of the day to day operations. He ensures your experience will be one that will make you want to come back and see us again whether you’re having a hospitality event, or you’re a customer in one of the retail outlets.

Carly Bradshaw – Retail & Development Manager: Carly ensures that we keep abreast of the market food trends, she is responsible for the development of food offers and manages the staff on the ground to ensure we deliver great customer service to you all.

Carla Campbell – Chef Manager: Carla makes sure the food you receive is delivered to a high quality consistently by her kitchen team, she writes the menu’s, ensures there’s a great variety available to suit all tastes and pockets and monitors allergens for your safety.

Sonia Wittin - Catering Administrator: Sonia supports the team in all that they do, she ensures the department runs efficiently by ensuring all bookings are logged onto the diary and that bookers expectations are met, supports HR side of things along with a few finance duties!
