We host lots of employer events, careers fairs and skills workshops for careers support.
The autumn term is our busiest time for events as this is when the majority of employers are keen to meet you. It also fits with deadlines for many graduate opportunities – a lot of schemes will close before Christmas, so it’s important to start planning ahead now!
For more information on the organisations attending and other careers events and workshops taking place, check out your events tab on Aston Futures.

Experience counts. Work experience gives you a competitive edge when you apply for graduate roles and offers an insight into the world of work. And that’s before you add in the benefits of money to see you through your degree, or an opportunity to help others.
The JobShop can help you find part-time or volunteering opportunities to help you with your career journey.
You can visit the team on the 1st Floor of the Students’ Union from 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday, or email: email@example.com
Our support looks a little different at the moment, but we’ve pulled out all the stops to make sure you have plenty of chances to engage with us. The majority of our events, activities and appointments are currently being delivered online, but there are also opportunities to see us on campus.
The Careers+Placements Centre is based in the Main Building, 1st Floor, South Wing. Due to social distancing restrictions, access to the centre is limited so there may be times when the centre is not open.
We might not always be available in person, but we are still working and on hand to help. For more information visit: www.aston.ac.uk/accessingcareerssupport
