Profile   

I joined the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Aston University in November 2017 as a part of the Sustainable Environment Research Group, having spent the previous 30 months as a research fellow of Thermofluids in Turbocharger Research Institute at the University of Huddersfield. Prior to that I spent two years as an Assistant Professor of Thermal Engineering at Alexandria University, Egypt after completing my PhD at the University of Birmingham, UK. On graduation I worked as a Lecturer Assistant at Alexandria University for a period of four years. My expertise is in the subject area of Thermofluids and I have been active in the field of energy efficient systems and sustainability since 2004.

  • Adsorption water treatment and/or cooling systems.
  • Micro turbomachinery for energy recovery.
  • Improving thermal equipments' performance using graphene.

  • Combined power systems for remote and off-grid areas of minimal waste energy.
  • Electromagnetic cooling systems.
