Profile 

I am working as a Machine Vision and Big Data Analyst at Aston University, Birmingham in collaboration with WheelRight, Oxford, UK. The project is funded through KTP (Innovate UK). The goal is to design an image processing and machine learning based system for reading text on the tyre sidewalls of moving vehicles using road side sensors/cameras.

I completed my PhD in 2014 from Aalborg University, Denmark. The title of my PhD research was Computer Vision for Weed Detection and 3D Plant Imaging. The general focus of my research was on developing and exploiting advanced instruments and methods from imaging and computer vision towards agricultural automation. It employed both 2D and 3D (Time-of-Flight and Stereovision) imaging.
