I am currently a Research Fellow with EBRI. I have been working on a number of major research projects related to thermo-chemical conversion of biomass/organic waste, bioenergy production and bioenergy system.
I gained my first degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham in 2009. I joined Aston as a Ph.D student working on biomass/ waste intermediate pyrolysis and use of pyrolysis oils as diesel engine fuels for energy production. I am also an expert in techno-economic and environmental life-cycle analyses for bioenergy system. My recent research interest is expended to using the pyrolysis liquid as a road paving material known as "bio-bitumen".
