"I chose Aston University because of how unique the Translation programme was and their high graduate employment rate.
After arriving, I learned so much through both my studies and part-time job with the university. It has really shown me the passion and dedication that all staff at the university has for the students.
The degree that I earned at Aston has opened a lot of doors for me, and I have made friends here that I know I will keep for the rest of my life.
Living in Birmingham, a multi-cultural city, means you will experience many different cultures and people, which will only enhance your experience.
Being open-minded is essential for future students, so I would suggest taking any opportunity, have a positive attitude, and be confident in knowing you’ve made the right decision for your future."

"I chose Aston because I was looking for an international school that had work opportunities abroad, and the placement year attracted me to Aston, as did the dual degree programme.
My favourite parts of Aston are the societies that I am in. After my first year, I am now president of the Drama Society and Director of TedX Aston University.
My advice for international students is to take advantage of all the opportunities the university has to offer, both academic and otherwise."
