We would typically require a Bachelor Degree/ Título Universitario Oficial de Licenciado en [subject area] (Licenciatura) from a recognised university. Some courses may require certain subjects to be covered in your Higher Education Degree. Details of those will be listed on the individual course pages where you can also see the overall entry requirement for UK Bachelor degrees. You can then come back to this page to see how your qualification compares to the UK degrees. Your eligibility to a merit scholarship will be evaluated based on the same comparison.

Each of Aston's Schools of Study has a number of research groups with the potential to host PhD students. Research specialisms include finance, economics, marketing, organisational psychology, bioenergy, knowledge engineering, photonics, languages, biomedical sciences, neurosciences, health sciences and more.
