Each of Aston's Schools of Study has a number of research groups with the potential to host PhD students. Research specialisms include finance, economics, marketing, organisational psychology, bioenergy, knowledge engineering, photonics, languages, biomedical sciences, neurosciences, health sciences and more.
To apply for a research degree at Aston, you should have at least an overall average of 7.5+ (out of 10) from a recognised Vietnamese university. The specific requirement will vary depending on the course you are applying for at Aston and the Vietnamese university from which you have graduated.
In support of your application, you also must submit a detailed research proposal outlining your intended research topic, its objectives, proposed method of research and an indication of how the proposed research topic relates to previous work by other researchers.
