To achieve our mission of excellence in research, teaching and business and community engagement, the School of Life & Health Sciences recognises the value of working in tandem with collaborative partners as well as providing activities and services to the wider community.
This involves working with local and national organisations, such as public and private healthcare providers, policy makers, corporate organisations, schools, colleges, universities, the media, the general public, professional bodies, charities and students (prospective, current and alumni).
Staff and students from the School regularly coordinate on-campus activities taking part in national and international awareness-raising campaigns for issues such as Antibiotic Awareness, International Women's Week, Eye Week and many more.
Other community and business engagement activities and collaborations that the School are involved with include:

Many of our activities already benefit from a history of fruitful collaboration but we are always happy to hear from potentially new collaborative partners.
If you would like to discuss the possibility of a collaborative venture with the School or you would like to join our volunteer register to be a participant in one of the School’s interesting research projects, please contact Trevor Knight in the first instance who will direct your enquiry (firstname.lastname@example.org).
