I joined the School of Life & Health Sciences School of Pharmacy as a lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy on 8th August 2016. Prior to joining the department, I worked as a research pharmacist at the Academic Practice Unit at Birmingham Children’s hospital and as a visiting researcher at Aston. I have been a registered pharmacist for the past 10 years and have experience working in many different sectors as a Community Pharmacist (Locum), Hospital Pharmacist (Rotational) as well as a Research Pharmacist (PhD and post-PhD). During my gap year in 2014, I volunteered to work as a Visitor Experience volunteer in the historical Old Royal Naval College Museum, in Greenwich; as a First Aider at St John Ambulance – London region as well as working as a Private tutor teaching A Level Biology and Chemistry. In March 2014 – I completed the Reading Half-Marathon.
