I am a Chartered Psychologist with a multidisciplinary background including a PhD in Psychology, an MSc in Human Factors and a BSc in Applied Biology. I joined Aston University in October 2008, having spent the previous ten years working in the Civil Service as an HM Inspector of Health and Safety, including two years as a Specialist Inspector of Human Factors.
My current position as a post-doctoral researcher is funded by an EU research project grant '664367/FOCUS'. The aim of this project is to reduce the burden of frailty in Europe by developing methods and tools to assist with the early diagnosis, screening and management of frailty.
