I am a Senior Teaching Fellow and Clinical Scientist in Audiology, and worked in the NHS for 13 years before moving to Aston University in 2007. My areas of clinical interest are adult auditory rehabilitation and vestibular assessment and rehabilitation, and I teach these topics on our undergraduate and postgraduate and continuing professional development courses in Audiology. I am also the Programme Director for the BSc in Healthcare Science (Audiology) degree and the Healthcare Science Practitioner (Audiology) apprenticeship.

I have been involved in Clinical Scientist training since 1999, and am currently a clinical examiner for the National School of Healthcare Science Scientist Training Programme.

I am also active in professional affairs in Audiology, and was elected to the Board of the British Academy of Audiology where I held the role of Service Quality Lead for 4 years (2013-2017).
