Aston University students have been awarded for their creativity by leading marketing agency, McCann Birmingham.
Yusuf Ismail Laher, Kanika Patel, Emily Alice Bidder and Julija Sosoniuk (pictured left to right in center of photo) were awarded with a highly coveted trophy after coming top of the class in a real-life marketing challenge set by McCann.
The team on Aston Business School's 'Strategic Brand Management' module were required to showcase their creativity and apply their theoretical understanding of the marketing industry to support the launch of a brand new vehicle.
The module sponsored by McCann Birmingham for three consecutive years, offers students a programme of learning specifically designed to boost their chances of employability in the marketing and communications sector.
Nick Oppenheimer (pictured second on left), executive planning director at McCann Birmingham, said; "We'd like to congratulate all of the students for their incredible hard work, creativity and enthusiasm on such a high-profile, real-life brief. We are delighted to be continuing to help marketers of the future showcase their creativity and boost their chances of employment upon leaving university."
Keith Glanfield, leader of the New Strategic Brand Management module at ABS added; "The students have had a fantastic experience and we are grateful for all of the support McCann Birmingham has provided this academic year. They have benefited enormously from taking part in a range of collaborative learning challenges and have been able to truly broaden their industry understanding. We hope we can further develop our relationship with McCann for many years to come."
