A study by The Economist also placed Aston higher than Oxford and Cambridge when it comes to boosting the earnings of its graduates. The analysis found Aston graduates earned on average nearly £3,000 more than predicted five years after graduation.

To calculate student satisfaction scores, the Guide pulls data from the most recent National Student Survey (NSS). The NSS asks questions about a variety of aspects of their teaching to measure quality from the student’s point of view.
