Doctor. Marketer. Psychologist. Engineer. Policymaker. General professional highflyer and superstar.

Whatever your ambition, we're here to make it happen.

Normally at this time of year, we would invite you to attend an Undergraduate Open Day on our city-centre campus to see our fantastic facilities, meet our inspirational lecturers and chat with our wonderful students. For your safety, that won’t be possible this year, but we’re not letting it hold us back.

Join us at our virtual Undergraduate Open Day on Friday, 3 July, for the opportunity to:

  • meet academics at subject-specific talks,
  • ask questions about your course,
  • talk to current students about Aston life,
  • take a virtual campus tour,
  • speak to our admissions and finance teams and more.

Just like a regular open day, this is your chance to learn more about your course, student life, Birmingham life, and our campus and facilities. We can’t wait to meet you.

We're #1 for Value Added

We focus on getting you a job
The entire University is built on ensuring you leave here with the highest employability. Most students go on a placement year and 80% find a graduate level job within six months of graduating.

Aston grads have higher than expected earnings
Our graduates earn more than expected across many subject groups. For example, employed Aston business and administration graduates earn £9,300 (35%) more than expected five years after graduating (Longitudinal Education Outcomes (LEO) data set).

Teaching here is proven to boost your prospects, achieving a gold rating for excellence in the Teaching Excellence Framework.

We'll help you start your own business
In your third year, you have the option of taking ‘an enterprising placement’ where you work with business mentors to carve out and grow your own enterprise.

You can learn a language for free
Take advantage of free language tuition in the first year of your degree. Learn Arabic, French, German, Mandarin Chinese or Spanish.
