Supporting our researchers

Supporting our researchers - Research

Aston's Research and Knowledge Exchange (RKE) team offers researchers a comprehensive advice and guidance on all aspects of applying for research funding, whatever stage of their career they are at.  The RKE will help researchers to find the right funder for their project and to develop a targeted research proposal. RKE also supports research strategy and policy development and manages the University’s Pure Research Information System.

We offer a range of services and opportunities:

ECR development

Early career research development

Aston is an inclusive research community and we are strongly committed to fostering the next generation of world-class academics. All our researchers’ contributions are valuable, whether they be early career researchers, or more established academics recognised as world-leaders in their field.

To acknowledge the particular needs of Early Career Researchers, Aston has set up an ECR forum and related ECR Development Programme.
