Aston University is offering scholarships to support postgraduate students to contribute to communication and understanding at a global level.
The Global Connections Scholarship offers £4,000 for international applicants to any of the following postgraduate courses starting in January 2021. If you are successful in being awarded this scholarship, it will automatically be credited to your student account in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
- Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?
International students applying for one of the following courses starting in January 2021:
MA Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
MA TESOL and Translation Studies
MA Translating for Business and International Institutions
MA International Relations and Global Governance- How do I apply?
- To apply for this scholarship you will first need to apply and receive an offer for any of the courses listed above (starting in January 2021).
- You can then log into your 'My Aston Portal (MAP)' account, where you will find a link to the scholarship application form. Details on how to access you MAP account can be found in your offer email.
- Applicants must submit a short answer to the following question, which will be judged by a panel (maximum 500 words):

- When is the deadline?
The deadline to apply for this scholarship is Monday 14th December 2020.
- Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
You can only receive one scholarship, but you are able to apply for multiple scholarships. If you are successful in being awarded multiple scholarships, the highest value scholarship will be awarded to you. Scholarships will automatically be credited to your student account in the form of a tuition fee reduction.
