Once you’re all signed up, the Great Run Team will be in touch with you six weeks before the event to ask you to register for your run token – so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for this email. 

What is an entry token?

An entry token is simply a link you receive from The Great Run Company in order to register online for the event. It will be emailed to you – you do not receive a physical token through the post.

I’ve received an entry email, what do I do now?

Click on the link within the email and you will be taken to the online entry form. You must complete this registration as soon as possible prior to any deadlines set to ensure you are registered for the event, otherwise you will not receive a run number and timing chip and will not be eligible to take part in the event.

I’ve already supplied all my information to my University and paid for my place. Why do I need to do it again?

Your organisation was required to compile a database of runner’s details (name and email address) and supply it to Great Run on your behalf in order to release entry tokens. Supplying this information to the University did not constitute your entry into the event – you still need to complete the official event online entry form by following the link in the email. You will not be asked
for any further payment.

My entry token email has not arrived, what do I do?

Please check your junk mail inbox first and if it is definitely not there contact Nicola Hendry at The Great Run Company nicola.hendry@thegreatruncompany.com who will arrange to re-issue it.
