Casual Workers Holiday Pay
With effect from 1st of February 2020 the University will be changing the way we display holiday pay for casual workers on their payslips. Please note that this change will not alter the actual amount paid to a casual worker.
The current hourly rate paid to casual workers includes an element of holiday pay which is an enhancement of 12.07% of the actual hourly rate. For hours worked after 01/02/2020 the holiday pay element will be split out from the current hourly rate and this will be shown separately on the payslip. Casual Rates of Pay are available here
Updating of Bank Account Details
In light of recent malicious spam and phishing emails we have removed the functionality from Aston Staff Portal for staff to be able to update their bank account details online.
If you need to update your bank account details please make a telephone appointment with Payroll to change your bank details.

Please select the correct Pension Scheme for your grade:
Contracted staff, grades 1 - 6, available from 1 April 2018
Contracted staff, grades 1 - 6, this is now a closed scheme to new entrants and future accrual and all existing members now have deferred benefits
Contracted staff, grades 7 and above
Casual staff only
