We cover a wide range of stimulating topics, from data mining and web analytics to business analytics in practise. This will give you a comprehensive understanding of these key areas of business analytics and put you in pole position to secure a coveted graduate position.

We’ll provide you with the quantitative skills needed to identify trends and gain insights from complex data. You’ll learn how to accurately analyse and visualise information. You’ll also gain valuable experience working with analytical tools, which can be used to provide information to business leaders, improving commercial decision-making and business performance. With insights from data often providing the basis for firms’ competitive advantage in the market place, it’s not surprising that business analytics graduates are becoming increasingly sought-after.

You’ll develop a clear understanding of the three types of data analytics - descriptive, predictive, prescriptive.

We focus on the practical application of these in a business context. You’ll discover what method, technique and tools can be used to solve specific commercial problems in the most effective way. As most roles within the business analytics sector are based in consultancies, we ensure you have the necessary skills for a consultancy environment. You’ll learn how to work effectively in a consultative role and understand what good and bad consulting practise looks like.

We use a mix of a stimulating teaching methods to bring this course to life and ensure you get the most out of your studies.
