Information for potential overseas applicants

If you are overseas, hold a relevant qualification, have the requisite experience, and fulfill the minimum English Language requirements, you should identify an area of medicine/science in which you wish to undertake research and contact one of our research staff as a potential supervisor. If you are able to find a supervisor willing to support your application, and a suitable host Trust can be found for the research, you must ensure that you have sufficient funding for the tuition fees, project cost fees and living expenses. Then, you can work with your identified Aston supervisor and a nominated clinician from the Trust to develop a research proposal. Once a suitable proposal has been agreed, you can then apply online.
