Postgraduate Open Days FAQs

Our next University-wide Open Day for all postgraduate subjects is Saturday 23 November, 9 am to 3 pm. You can visit the campus or visit us virtually online.

Yes, ideally please register onilne in advance to attend the Open Day.  You are also welcome to come along on the day and register when you arrive but to improve the process for you, and for us to keep in touch, please do register online.

You will receive an immediate confirmation message when you book online.  We will also contact you closer to the Open Day to remind you of the event.

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring family and/or friends with you to the Open Day.  

The Open Day takes place between the hours of 9 am to 3 pm. There will be a series of talks and an opportunity for you to undertake a tour of the campus, talk to our academics, our admissions team, and careers team to give you guidance with regard to your study and funding opportunities.

Aston University campus is located on a green 60 acre, self contained site in the centre of Birmingham, within 5-10 minutes walk of main shopping, business and entertainment areas of the city.  Parking is not normally available on campus for visitors but is available in pay and display car parks close by. See our map and directions.

Unfortunately we do not have parking available on campus as space is limited. However, pay and display parking is available very close to campus at Millennium Point (B4 7SA).

The Univesity is a 10-15 minute walk, or five minute taxi ride, from all three central mainline Birmingham train stations - Birmingham New Street, Birmingham Snow Hill, and Birmingham Moor Street.
