I spent a year as an exchange student in South Korea, which was by far the best year of my life! Not only was it loads of fun, I also learned great things about different cultures as there were people from all around the globe. While doing my exchange I travelled around Korea, I went to Vietnam, Australia, and celebrated my Birthday in the sunny Philippines. What is even more important I met tons of amazing and incredible people, of whom I have already met quite a few back in Europe. While studying I also had an opportunity to teach kids English and even do few gigs on Korean television. From a country I knew little about, I fell in love with Korean culture, food, language and its people.
Though living and studying in Korea and learning the language I really improved my self confidence. i also gained strong organisational and planning skills, as well as my communication, problem-solving, team-work and time management abilities.
