Step 1: enrol online

You will need to complete online enrolment before arriving at the University. We’ll contact you by email with instructions about how to do this. 

Step 2: face to face enrolment 

If you will be studying on the Aston University Campus, you will need to come to Welcome Weekend to enrol, on Saturday 14th and 15th of September in the Library and on Monday 16th  of September to Friday 20th of September between 9am and 12pm.

We will email you before Freshers Week / Welcome Week to let you know the day and time of your enrolment slot.

If you are studying at a distance then your School will confirm your enrolment remotely. 

What to bring to enrolment:

UK/EU students

Please bring your:

  • Passport or National Identity Card
  • If your current domicile is in the UK, your  Student ID card (UniCARD) – will be posted to you before Freshers Week / Welcome Week. You must remember to bring this to your enrolment so that you can access university buildings. If you are currently not in the UK you can collect your Student ID at enrolment
  • Original qualification documents. Copies will not be accepted
  • If you have taken your A level/BTEC qualifications you do not need to bring the certificates as they are verified by UCAS.

International students

Please bring your:

  • Passport
  • Visa – if you have arranged for your BRP card to be sent to the University, you can collect this at enrolment
  • Qualification documents. Copies will not be accepted

You can collect your Student ID card (UniCARD) at enrolment.
