Indian food free from compromise

For sisters Reena and Geeta, cooking always played a pivotal role in their household growing up. When Geeta discovered she was coeliac, the sisters struggled to share family meals due to the lack of availability of meals that they could all enjoy.

So, after Reena graduated with a business degree, Green Sisters was born - an award-winning range of authentic indian food that is free from all 14 major allergens and incorporates ingredients with true health credentials, such as turmeric, cinnamon and vegetables.

Green Sisters have made it their mission to offer delicious and healthier foods we can all enjoy, regardless of diet.

Starting off selling at food festivals and corporate catering, the duo now sell directly from their website and are in talks with several stockists. They’ve also expanded their innovative product range (thanks to securing their own kitchen) to chutneys, curries and more.

They have also run a successful crowdfunding campaign to develop their venture, and were finalists in the national Santander Entrepreneurship Awards 2017. Reena and Geeta have big plans for the business, but as they expand they’re committed to their values of offering great food, free from compromise.
