Progression criteria and additional information for the Foundation Programme in Science: Biosciences and Pharmacy and Foundation Programme in Science: Health Science.
Our science foundation programmes have been designed to give you the skills and knowledge needed to progress onto a range of undergraduate degrees at Aston. In order to progress onto your course of choice, you must meet set progression grades in your performance on the foundation programme.
You will be required to state your intended progression route when you submit your application. Please ensure you check the webpages of each of our foundation programmes to see which is appropriate for you to apply to in regards to your course of choice and your student status:
If at a later stage you request a change in your progression route, these changes will only be considered after you have received your foundation programme results and if:
- You meet the entry criteria for the newly chosen programme.
- There is space on the newly chosen programme.
- You meet the progression criteria for the newly chosen programme.
- The admissions tutor of the newly chosen programme agrees.
Please note, the progression grades noted below are for 2020 entry onto our undergraduate courses, and are therefore subject to revisions. If you have any questions about progression from foundation to undergraduate, please contact our admissions team at [email protected].
